DBT Program
Dialectical Behavior Therapy
Full-model DBT is a comprehensive, structured treatment designed for people who feel overwhelmed by intense emotions or stuck in patterns that create real problems in their lives and relationships.
Skills you can use in real life.
DBT is especially helpful when you’re dealing with frequent conflict, impulsive behaviors, self-harm urges, suicidal thoughts, or big swings in mood that feel hard to control. In DBT, you’ll learn practical skills in four key areas:
Mindfulness
Emotion Regulation
Distress Tolerance
Interpersonal Effectiveness
The goal is to help you build a life that feels more stable, meaningful, and worth living—one skill, one step, and one week at a time.
Full-model DBT includes weekly individual therapy, a weekly DBT skills group, and between-session coaching to help you use skills in real-life moments when you need them most. Treatment is also supported by a clinician consultation team to ensure therapy stays effective, consistent, and focused on progress.
DBT Skills Group
Our DBT skills group is a structured, supportive group designed for people who struggle with intense emotions and want practical tools to cope more effectively. Led by two PhD-level therapists, this group combines practical skills with a high level of clinical expertise and support. It’s a great fit if you experience emotional overwhelm, impulsive behaviors, relationship conflict, or feel like your reactions can become “too big” in stressful moments.
In group, you’ll learn and practice the core DBT skills. The focus is on building real-life strategies you can use right away to get through crises safely, reduce emotional intensity, and respond more skillfully in relationships.
You can self-refer to join the group, or your individual therapist can refer you as part of your overall treatment plan. Many clients use DBT group alongside individual therapy for extra structure, accountability, and support.
