Couples therapy is designed to help partners break painful patterns, especially when things feel high-conflict, tense, or close to a breaking point.

We’ll work on understanding what’s fueling the cycle you’re stuck in (like escalations, shutdowns, criticism, defensiveness, or repeated arguments that never get resolved) and build practical tools to shift it.



In sessions with Dr. Murray, you’ll learn concrete skills to regulate emotions in the moment, communicate more effectively, and repair after conflict, so disagreements don’t spiral into bigger damage.

We’ll identify unhelpful thoughts and assumptions that intensify conflict and practice more balanced, accurate ways of interpreting each other. We’ll also focus on staying grounded during hard conversations, increasing validation and emotional safety, and learning how to ask for what you need without attacking or withdrawing.

Work as a team again.

The goal isn’t to “win” arguments. It’s to help you rebuild trust, and create a healthier way to problem-solve together.
